When First Installing MediaShare : MediaShare “Unregistered”


When downloading and installing MediaShare for the first time all that is needed is download the MediaShare installer and run the latest MediaShare installer.


Once installed please check that “MediaShare_Setup” and “MediaShare_Runtime”

are running as “Administrator”.


(Right click the desktop icons, select “Properties”, “Compatability”, Check “Run as Administrator”)



When Updating MediaShare From An Older Version : MediaShare “Registered”

Or After A Forced Unregistration from MediaShare Server


Before updating from an older version, or after a Forced Unregistration from the MediaShare Server,

first enter “reset” into the Registration Box of your current version and await notification via email from MediaShare that your Registration Key has been reset and added to the New MediaShare Registration Server and ready to Register your Registration Key again.


Once updated please double check that “MediaShare_Setup” and “MediaShare_Runtime”

are still running as “Administrator”.


(Right click the desktop icons, select “Properties”, “Compatability”, Check “Run as Administrator”)
